i am enraged.... stupid ACT (just wondering)

WHY DON'T COLLEGES SUPERSCORE ACT?!?!?!!?!!?
While SAT allows you to pick your best score from each exam, why do colleges not give the same opportunity for ACT and take only the composites?
Can someone think of a justified reason for that?
Is it because SAT penalize you for guessing the wrong answers while ACT's dont? Although those tests are essentially different exams in nature, the application of these exams in reviewing a candidate's profile should remain the same...or no? It just seems like the different treatment for each exam may present the admission candidate for each test differently.... somewhat skewed.
Also, don't colleges always want to take the best score anyway to increase their ranking?

Because you have to submit every SAT score and you can pick and choose which ACT score to send.

I suspect they will stop superscoring the SAT in the next few years as the College Board will allow you to pick and choose which SAT's to send as well. :)

because the act is easier

runs

Some colleges superscore the ACT (like WashU).

Florida State superscores the ACT.

But what I always ask about superscoring, is why be eager for colleges to do that? That just raises the scores of other applicants who are applying to the same college you are applying to.
