I am in the worst predicament....

Tonight (9:30pm) I have a Research Paper for English, so I cannot study for any of my aps.
I have AP USH in 4 days....I haven't studied....at all.
I have AP Art History on the 12th, but the next 4 days are going to AP USH, so I will only have 4-5 days to study art history.

I dunno what to do I am about to cry.
I own: AMSCO APUSH, Barrons AP Art History

What should I do?

I paid attention in both classes so im not completely clueless.

I would spend most of my time in the AP US HIstory. The art AP class is easier and not worth much. Check out CollegeBoard; they have a lot of shorter summary reviews of the test. Take everything 1 step at a time. Talk with your AP teacher and get help before and after school. If everything fails, at least you know you tried your best. Good Luck!!!

Here is a thread for cram packets so you might find your aps here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/ap-tests-preparation/921322-ap-cram-packets-list-yours-here.html</a>. Don’t try learning anything new, just focus on what you already know. I don’t know about art but for US, just cover major events, people, eras, know your presidents etc. I think you should be fine because its a fairly easy exam.

ok, i’ll focus on us history. @kablam237 : its ap art history, not ap art. theres gunna be alot of knowing pictures…im screwed.

You can always drop the score if it is too bad.

The AP Art exam is harder than the US History one. It is far more extensive; 7 mini essays, 2 long essays, and 115 multiple choice questions. I’m taking the AP Art History exam as well. As far as studying, I’m going through a Barron’s review book. Unlike you, I basically learned nothing from the class so I’m self-studying most of this material. Good luck! :]

you should focus on getting a good score on the easy one and failing the bad one than spending all your time on the hard one and failing both.

How about my situation, I have 4 tests total, but I was told on Friday that my Gov is Monday (tomorrow), I had to volunteer all saturday, then I had to read a book for a test on tuesday (I need Monday to study for Calc). So then today, Sunday, I had to work all morning and all afternoon and now have to study for Gov, a class I took first semester. I am pretty sure I will get at least a 4, but I am still going nuts and interrupting my studying by writing this.

Lmao you guys…

I’m taking 7 tests.
AP Statistics (tomorrow) - I’m studying at this very moment. Jesus.
AP Calculus BC (Wed) - I will be studying that today as well haha…
etc.etc. (rest I have plenty of time to study for in the course of few days)…

But I’m scared ****less as well :stuck_out_tongue: Plus, I had SAT IIs and some volunteering crap so couldn’t do anything over the weekend. Furthermore, my teacher decided to be an ass and assign our class a major project over the week. -.-

^lol, I took 7 last year too! desparate attempt to get national ap scholar. It was without a doubt the most intense thing I did–I self studied 5 of them. I had to pull all nighters every night for like 3 weeks. and I had all these stupid big english projects going on at the same time!

But, I did it, and I’m sure you can too! Best of luck!

ps. coffee is your best friend. seriously.

if it’s any consolation, most colleges don’t consider AP scores for admissions, only placement. They will consider your grades in said AP classes, however.

^ That’s actually really ironic. My AP classes are much easier than the tests.

^Mine are much harder than the tests.

Not the worst predicament, sorry to say. I have 3 tests and an i-search paper and a piano exam and a French final…but I haven’t taken the French class so I don’t know any of the grammar (it’s complicated). Still though, the piano exam and my calc test is what is worrying the heck off. How is AP Art History? I’m thinking of self-studying it.

Sorry, that wasn’t very helpful, but I sympathize with you!

just worry about the apush test first then after that study for the art history which i thought was a pretty easy test just know the formal words for techniques and look at the other works of an artist

Meh, I’m in a pickle as well!

Spanish Language on Tuesdsay – I fail at speaking.
Calc AB on Wednesday – Okay, honestly I’m scared sh/tless for this one. Can’t do math to save my rear end.
APUSH on Friday – Hm, semi-prepared for this one. Though I haven’t started studying yet. Hopefully a 5 is attainable.
Bio on Monday – Eh. Need to studystudystudy for this one!
English Language on Wednesday – Skill-based. But then again, I really want a 5. Crossing my fingers!

Thinking of taking Calc w/o preparing and canceling my score…

Hey Mermaid do you mind telling me if you got 5s on all your tests oor?

Man I’m scared for Stats tmr >< Self-studying this and I’m getting 4s on Barrons ><… sigh
