Should I drop out of my State's University to take some general classes or some that interest me at my local community college to try to find what I really want to major in and to save some money or do you that would be just a waste of time? I am just feeling to lost in college and really have no idea what I want to do

If this is your first year it is normal to feel lost at this point in time. Many people feel the same way. You probably are planning your next semester classes so make sure you meet with your counselor and tell him/her your feelings. They may have some suggestions of ways to explore areas that may interest you. As far as going to community college if money is a big issue this may be a good idea, but if you are just feeling normal adjustment issues - I would give it more time. Get involved in some clubs or join a group that interests you. Take a variety of classes next semester so you can try to figure out an area that may interest you enough to major in that subject.

agree with momtotwins. ^^

This may be a good time to take some general ed classes plus an elective that sounds just plain fun. I think you will find your path. You never know when a class/subject will grab you and interest you.
