I am an honors student at community college and I have an aptitude for math and science or at least I thought I did. I want to major in physics because I took two years of AP physics in high school and loved it. However my academic advisors in college screwed my schedule up and I had the choice of transferring to a four year a whole year later or taking calc one over be summer. I decided to take calc one however it’s an 8 week course and it is the hardest class of my life. I am so sad that I’m struggling because I want so badly to do well. I’ve gone to two different private tutors and have done hours of studying and homework and I just don’t seem to be getting anywhere. I don’t know what to do, because next semester my classes are physics and calc 2 which I’ve read is the hardest calc class. I’m not sure what to do and could use some advice. Should I just try to get a C in the class and hope for the best or drop it and take it next semester and just deal with transferring a year later?
