I applied to 12 schools? What are my chances for USC, SCU, Fordham, and more?

Hello! I have applied to the following schools. Chance me?

-Arizona State University (safety?)
-Boston University
-Fordham University
-Reed College
-Rice University
-Santa Clara University
-University of Colorado - Boulder (safety?)
-University of Michigan - Ann Arbor
-University of Southern California
-University of Washington
-Vanderbilt University
-Whittier College

Profile -
Caucasian female (born in US)
Income: Lower end of middle class (my mom is a single parent)
State: Missouri
School: Very small public school (260 students)

Academic -
GPA: 3.97 unweighted
Class rank: 1 out of 57
ACT: 31 composite
Major: Undecided

My school doesn’t offer any AP classes since it’s so small, but I have enrolled in many dual-credit classes for both high school and college credit.

I took College Algebra and College American History last year, both for dual credit. This year, I am earning college credit through College English, Calculus, and College Psychology. The rest of my senior courses include Trig/Statistics, Spanish III, and two periods of Career Exploration that allows me to leave early for work. I am a little nervous that my class rigor will not be enough for some colleges, but I am taking the best classes available at my school.

Extracurricular -
Renaissance (an academic club): 4 years
Student Council: 4 years
National Honor Society
Speech and Debate: 2 years
Academic Team: 2 years
Band: 3 years
Volunteered for kindergarten summer school tutoring: 150+ hours
Full-time job: 30-35 hours a week during the school year

I am also on the Honor Roll. I was nominated for Missouri Girl’s State but did not attend due to work.

I appreciate any responses. I know that there is nothing I can do now, but I am curious and I still have until April to wait to get these decisions back. Thank you in advance!

Decent shot at everything except Rice and Vanderbilt but i’m assuming you already knew that. You genuinely seem like a pretty awesome human being and I really hope it shows in your app.

Only regret you might have is not applying to a mega reach like Stanford or Harvard.

@Alundari Thank you so much! I thought those two would be reaches but I had fee waivers so I figured I might as well apply, right?

Thank you again, I appreciate your response.

Very good chance for all schools, considering your family background and your grades. Also, for USC, in my experience and analysis, you could get rejected if you don’t show that you are not unique, even with your superb academic background. So as long as you show that you are something to contribute to the school, then you have a very good shot, It may sound like that it is something that must be done for all schools, but there are a lot of unique people at USC compared to UCLA.

Thank you! @petercho1996

@petercho1996 you ended your post with:
“… but there are a lot of unique people at USC compared to UCLA”.
Would you elaborate in what sense you feel that way? Just curious!
(I have nothing against USC. Although I am currently a parent of a UCLA student but am a USC gratuate myself!)
