I-Banking Placement from Mason

Hello everyone! This question is mostly geared toward current students/alumni. I didn’t post in the investment banking forum because I suspect I would have several people there tell me it’s best to attend an Ivy instead - most likely true, but not quite what I’m looking for.

I’m going to be applying to W&M this Fall, and was wondering what the investment banking placement is like from the school of business? I saw that a few bulge bracket banks were listed under top hiring firms, but was hoping to get some reassurance or first hand accounts that W&M does indeed provide a strong pipeline. All of my friends at the college hold the school in high regard, but I just want to make sure that the excellent undergrad experience offered here would align itself with my career goals. Thanks in advance!

It includes some general outlines of what pathways you might want to pursue as well as some opportunities available for students. Alternatively, you may want to check out some of the student organizations and possibly contact one of the members of the organizations for more details. From what I have heard, the business fraternity has been incredibly useful for networking and practicing interview skills for its members http://mason.wm.edu/programs/undergraduate/community/studentorgs/
