Williams College for Investment Banking

Hi!
I'm interested in majoring in math or economics in college, and I really like Williams. I'm asking this question because I want a perspective on Williams' career placement. Does anybody know how Williams does in terms of placement at top wall street firms like Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan etc.?

-How strong is the Williams alumni community on Wall Street?
-How much competition is there for I-banking jobs at a small school like Williams?
-How does Williams compare to schools like Amherst, Swarthmore, and Dartmouth in terms of placement at top wall street firms?
-How difficult is it to maintain a high GPA in a math or econ major at Williams?
-So in general if one has a good GPA, how difficult is it to break into i-banking from Williams?

btw I'm posting this in the Investment banking forum because the answers to similar posts in the past in the Williams forum seemed like they may be a tad biased because many of the posters were Williams alums, students, or parents, so I'm posting this here so I can receive unbiased answers.

Thank You! I really appreciate it!

I’m curious as well

I know people at hedge funds who have graduated from Williams who would hire any unemployed Williams alum just to maintain the perception of the value of the Williams degree

-How strong is the Williams alumni community on Wall Street? - extremely strong

-How much competition is there for I-banking jobs at a small school like Williams? - don’t know

-How does Williams compare to schools like Amherst, Swarthmore, and Dartmouth in terms of placement at top wall street firms? At least as good

-How difficult is it to maintain a high GPA in a math or econ major at Williams? - don’t know

-So in general if one has a good GPA, how difficult is it to break into i-banking from Williams? - interview skills are extremely important, assuming those are good it should not be too hard
