I cannot take Physics and Calculus...for Engineering Major

No no I hate Lit lol. It is not my fault that my school does not offer it.

Someone advised me to not go into any kind of engineering at UPenn (not sure if that also implied to CS) If I haven’t taken Physics and AP Calculus and told me to major in Econ.

Well, do you like engineering, CS, or economics better?

Note that economics can be highly math-intensive, if you go on to the PhD level.

But most schools assume that you are ready for college calculus (and physics, if applicable) by having completed the prerequisites of precalculus (and high school physics) in high school, rather than assuming having taken AP level courses in high school.

Well I don’t know about any of the 3 majors extensively. However, I am planning to apply to CS but the supplemental essay asks why I picked the school (Engineering school where CS is), I don’t have any valid reasons…if I pick a major in SAS (Arts and Sciences), then I can talk about my ECs like helping group of chinese immigrants with Chinese/English because they struggle with both, helping this kid in my class with homework, projects and translation, and also extensive dedication to the school online newspaper

I think I will do this. CAS since it offers more freedom and SEAS requires physics (might still get in since my school don’t offer it, not my fault but still). Then I might transfer into SEAS from CAS after freshman year if I get a 3.0 GPA if I am right.

Is James Madison High School online courses legit? I signed up half way and put in my email and my mom’s phone number, she got spammed called for a couple of days.
I wanna take an online physics course there.

^^ There’s probably a James Madison High School in every state; which one are you referring to?

http://www.jmhs.com/</a></p>

^ .com? Think about it.

Well this is what they are from. http://www.ashworthcollege.edu/</a>
The google reviews say that they are unreliable, however. So probably not, I’ll have to sign up for spring 2015 physics at my local CC. I hope they would give me proof so I can add it on my common app.

Why not use FLVS? It’s state-accredited and public (it’s Florida’s virtual high school).

Google Reviews are even worse
Wow the spam calls from JMHS
