<p>im a junior in high school and i have no ideas of what colleges i want to go to or what i want to major in. i keep thinking that i just want to do a 4 month guitar luthier course after high school instead of college, but im having second thoughts. when i think about it, i really have no idea about what i want to do! what can i do to find a career/major or college that is right for me?</p>

<p>We have an old friend who did not go to college. Instead, he went to Europe to learn violin-making. He learned a lot of other things in the process (such as how to speak French). Today he has a very lucrative career selling instruments for as much as $20K a pop to some of the most famous classical musicians in the world. </p>
<p>So there are other options (besides plumbing.) But I do not want to get your parents angry at me so I better shut up.</p>
