I am deciding between Loyola Marymount University, Arizona State University, and University of Arizona. Most of my friends are going to ASU, but a majority of my high school is going to U of A. Part of me wants to stay in state and be with my friends and save money, while part of me wants to just go for it and move to California. I am mostly stressed about being left out from my friends (which is immature, I know) but I can't help but feel like I want to stay in my comfort zone. I have no clue what I want to study and I am having the hardest time deciding where to go. If anyone has any advice/tips/anything on how I can choose my future school, please help!

Take the risk!

You will make new friends! I will be traveling thousands of miles to go to college. Take the leap (granted you can afford to), and go to Loyola.

How much does each cost and what’s your parents’ budget?
How much in loans would you have to take on at each?

I got some grants from Loyola so tuition would only be just over $35,000, ASU would be around 17,000 and U of A would be around 16,000 (these are including room/board, tuition, and other expenses). My parents have told me that they would be able to afford LMU’s cost and that I wouldn’t have to take out any loans for any of the school’s unless I wanted to.

I think U of A is your best bet. It is the best of the three. LMU is near the beach if you want that but U of A is bigger and would offer more majors.

In that case, go to LMU if that’s the school you like best.
Don’t forget to deposit today at the school of your choice!

@hr81096 - I personally know 3 kids at LMU, all of whom went there knowing absolutely no one and they all absolutely love it. Two juniors, one senior. Good luck!
