I can't login to USConnect...

<p>I type in my email & password & hit "Login" but the site won't even try to load a new page. Is this happening for anyone else?</p>

<p>What’s likely is, if you can’t login then your account got cleared/deleted which may indicate rejection. This is why all the Scholars have been able to log in so far, they’ve already been admitted. If you can still log in, then that is likely good news</p>

<p>Wow, that’s depressing. Sort of disheartening to think that I paid USC $70+, and my application status check never worked and now my account has been “cleared/deleted” entirely. Wonderful.</p>

<p>What is likely?? (well, maybe only in the head of a feverish, nervous college applicant) What is likely is there is some updating going on for those who have not yet received admission. Updating does not indicate admit or deny. Hold on. No need to panic.</p>

<p>I’m resisting the urge to look at USConnect. Don’t even know my son’s login. I know that, because we live in Illinois, there will probably be reports on here from people in CA before we get word. Trying to relax…</p>

<p>Transfer applicant here. Still nothing happens. Hope it doesn’t mean anything…bad (yikes!)…</p>

<p>OK here’s the breakdown. There’s two types of issues.</p>

<p>I was always able to log-in during the issue users reported several hours ago. I did have trouble viewing my application status (it would give me an error)</p>

<p>Now viewing my application status also works fine, making everything solved for me</p>

<p>My S2 was admitted early as a trustee scholarship candidate and he cannot log on either. So not being able to logon certainly doesn’t mean your account has been inactivated because you were not granted admission. My guess is there is either a problem with the server or accounts are being updated. </p>

<p>He can get to the logon page and enter username and password. When he hits the logon button nothing happens.</p>

<p>Perhaps it’s a regional thing? I’m on the east coast and when I click login, the browser appears to take no action at all, no matter what I type in the username and password fields. How could my account have been deleted if the site isn’t even contacting USC servers to check? I’m obviously not an expert on this stuff, however if some already admitted student’s portals are not working while others are, there must be no correlation to admission status. </p>

<p>My bad, I was under the impression that it would say something similiar to “invalid username/password” </p>

<p>If nothing happens when you click the login button then it’s just a technical issue.</p>
