Me too!

I can’t stand it when I can’t fall asleep and then I have to get up for school in the morning.

Me too!

I can’t stand it when I can’t fall asleep and then I have to get up for school in the morning.

Me too!

I can’t stand it when I write for a long time and then have pencil lead or pen ink smudged on my wrist from writing (I’m left-handed).

Me too!

I can’t stand it when people I don’t know well like old things from Facebook. Creepin’ much?

Can’t say. Since I don’t post often, old posts linger on my wall.

I can’t stand it when passing drivers harass me while I’m out for a run.

^Can’t stand that too. Smart arse and snide comments from people passing in cars (usually younger people with their friends in the car). It’s a pathetic attempt at trying to impress their mates and cover up their insecurities about their lack of fitness.

In speaking of stupid driving, I can’t stand it when people don’t use their turn signals. It’s like, if you’re planning on cutting me off, at least me know so I have time to let you in as opposed to having to slam on the brakes…

Ugh! I see that every day! It must be a requirement to get a license in Las Vegas.

Also related to road derp, I can’t stand it when people don’t know what to do when an emergency vehicle is passing. Come on! How much do you have to be lacking in common sense to stop, without pulling over, on the road for the ambulance? At least when you don’t stop, it doesn’t obstruct traffic.

Me too! I just received my learner’s permit and feel as if I could be a traffic officer due to the lack of following the rules of the road; most people are horrible drivers.

I can’t stand it when parents discuss pointless topics in the cafe thread, maybe it’s just me…

On a kids’ site, no less.

I can’t stand it when I’m driving and the person next to me thinks it’s a good idea to talk on their cell phone and then turn on the radio when we’re at a red light (and then turn off the radio when the light turns green).

That seems annoying, but since I don’t have a car or live in an area with highly obnoxious people, I can’t say whether it annoys me or not.

I can’t stand it when people have conversations that are either illogical, sexist, racist, drug-related, or sex-related (the last two applies to teenagers).

Doesn’t really bother me. Not enough to provoke me, anyways.

I can’t stand it when skinny people call themselves fat jokingly. There are people with genuine insecurities about their weight.

And some of those people you would consider skinny…never make light of something someone could really be insecure about themselves.

I can’t stand it when I can hear someone’s chewing. Like, they chew really noisily with lots of saliva and I can hear it and it makes me want to rip my ears out.

I can’t stand it when people refer to Africa as a country or as an insignificant nonentity, or to Africans as one homogeneous group of people. “Third world mission fields such as India, China and Africa.” “Oh, I heard Africans are always late.”

I can’t stand when people make a big deal out of my weight. I know I’m thin, I’m not conceited about it its just a fact. I hate when people call me skinny like its weird, or make every conversation start with “Oh you’re soo skinny” or constantly compare themselves to me in the locker room. I’m actually self concious about making other people self concious about their weight. How messed up is that?

I can’t stand it when people treat me like I’m stupid. I really can’t.

ABSOLUTELY. Especially when:
-They write 5-page essays about the college-related “crisis” they are dealing with and expect people to read the whole thing
-They have obnoxious names, i.e. “2kidsVanderbilt” “Brian’sDad85” “momof3”
-They refer to their family members as DS, DD, DH, etc. You’re ranting about your kid on a college website; I highly doubt you’re thinking of him as a “dear son” right now.
-They say “PLEASE READ!” or the sort in the title. If you need to beg people to read your story, it’s probably extremely boring and not worth reading.
-They post threads freaking out about every last detail of their children’s academic careers. Sorry mom2susie, but if you are a helicopter parent that calls the school every time you think Susie’s teacher was too hard on her, your DD Susie is going to fail out of college.

I can’t stand it when people are too afraid to speak their minds.

Me too. All of those things are quite annoying.

I can’t stand it when white guys wear backwards hats. Just really gets to me.

And, I can’t stand middle-aged conservative men who constantly push their political views on you.

Me too (@NavyBlueNinja).

@Hoping411 - same here (about the weight thing)! People constantly compare themselves to me even though it’s a completely unfair comparison.

I can’t stand it when people use messengers to tell you something instead of just saying it to you themselves.

I can’t stand it when people try to change you to be more like them.

I can’t stand it when people automatically think I’m smart before I’ve even opened my mouth.

…I mean, I’m not dumb, but I hate being stereotyped just cuz I’m a glasses-wearing Indian.

Me too! Well, people don’t automatically stereotype me, but I hate it when people think I’m smarter than I am [I guess I sound smart].

I can’t stand it when people are prejudiced [region-ist?] about southerners. It’s one of the few forms of discrimination that’s still completely acceptable.

I can’t stand it when people on CC refer to math as ‘maths’. >.>

“maths level 1”
“maths level 2”

GAHH!
