We had one about a girl talking about her childhood (which was abnormally hard), one on looking back at childhood for artistic inspirations, a space debris one, and I’m not sure about the last one. The reading was a lot harder than any of the practices I have done. I thought the practices were really straightforward and easy to understand. Hopefully, there will be a bigger curve on this one.

But yeah, the essay topic was completely alien to me and I drew a blank.

How many times are you going to take the ACT? Do you know which ones of the big-name colleges require you to report your scores from all of your tests?

I don’t completely remember what the reading passages were about but I kind of have a vague idea. The prose one I did was strange and kind of confusing. Everything was out of chronological order, as I remember, and I think the narrator was a women and she spoke about her future husband louis as well as her hard life as a child… It was something like that.

The humanities had something to do with artists and writers using their childhood experiences as inspiration for their craft. The natural science one was something about the dangers of space… I did the social science one last and I literally had to read the whole thing in under a minute and so I can hardly remember it at all…

Yeah the reading was definitely harder than any of the practices… The one that really messed me up was the first one. It was much more in depth than any of the practices and required more time. The other passages weren’t necessarily harder but they were almost impossible in the amount of time I had left… Also, I thought the questions and answers seemed longer than I expected them to be… Hoping for that curve!!

I can’t remember anything about the social science section either, even though I finished with plenty of time…does anyone remember anything that could jog my memory xD?

Even though I am confident in math and science (and English this time), I always manage to get a couple of unexpected questions wrong on each section by misreading the questions or some other careless mistakes. So hopefully, I didn’t make too many this time.

I thought the English section was way easier than it used to be. Math was average, Science was a little hard but fine in general. However, I thought the prose section of the reading passage was super difficult. I rushed through the passage and managed to finish in time, but guessed some hard questions. I did poorly on the essay since I couldn’t come up with a solid second reason. Hoping for a forgiving curve on reading and a 34 composite. Good luck everyone!

What were some of the hardest questions you guys faced and what answers did you end up giving for them (perhaps we can help each other figure the right answer out ha!)?

i forgot! do your rmb the prose fiction passage? For science, I had to guess because I hardly read the passage. For ex, how often are satellite collisions with space debris & also which of the following works with astronauts to navigate through space debris. they weren’t hard, i just didnt’ have time to go bk to the passage.

in science section there was the question whose answer choices was something like AABB AAbb aabb Aabb… it was a defination question and I didn’t fully understand it
I guessed something like Aabb since I saw something like non-identical…
in English section there was the question asking what choice was more physical
I was deciding between the balance chioce or the choice like"We played for almost X hours" picked the first one but not sure at all
satellite collisions is a few months in my memory
also there was the question in the prose asking whose parent was not mentioned to earn money, I guessed the boy’s mom(I know it’s not the girl’s mom or the boy’s dad)

AHHHHHHHHH! Literally screamed when I saw my shocking scores- I GOT A 35. weeeeeee!!! So happy right now, just saved my Christmas break from studying for yet another round of standardized testing :D

I guess so, because Dec. 27th was the first day they could be posted for our test date. If you log into your account on the ACT Student website, your scores might be there. They say they send an email, but I haven’t gotten one yet because writing scores aren’t released yet, and they only send the email after that.

Cause we’re international, I wasn’t expecting them on the first day, but there they were :)

Were they right infront of you when you logged in? or did you have to click ‘your test dates and scores’ or something like that to go looking for them?

When I logged in, the homescreen had diff links under my test date- one was “View Scores.” I then had to re-enter my password, and then my test scores were right there.
