I didn't report my AP Scores

I didn’t realize that you were supposed to self report AP scores on your common app… i have taken 5 APs
I applied to 5 schools early
._. What do i do?

It shouldn’t be a huge issue, since APs aren’t factored as heavily into admission, but you may still want to contact admissions to find out if you can self-report them if you want. Generally though, AP scores only need to be submitted where you matriculate for the credit.

Ok thanks, i just emailed them. Hopefully they will respond.

@applicantcor your AP scores don’t need to be reported, as your scores are not considered for admission purposes. Once admitted, you will then send in your scores to Cornell in July so you can be placed accurately in classes. For example, if you got a 5 on the BC Calc, then you don’t need to take calculus and can go right to Linear Algebra, which is what my daughter did. Or if you get a 5 on either AP Lang or AP Lit, then you only need to take one semester of Freshmen Writing Seminar (FWS) instead of two semesters. My D is in CAS and this is the case for her. Or you may choose to take the CASE exams (Cornell Advanced Standing Exam) in certain subjects during orientation week. My D took the French Language placement exam online over the summer and based on her results, she was recommended for a certain level of French. Anyway, you get the idea.
