I recently moved from one side of the U.S. to the opposite side. It is my senior year as well. So I have been struggling. Currently the classes I am taking are AP lit, AP Physics B, AP Microeconomics, Social Issues Thru Media, Art, and AP Statistics. This is my first semester, and the colleges I am applying for are in the state of Georgia. My school does a 7 point honor points which gives an additional 7 points to an AP or honor class.
My concern is, for the past three years (disregarding this year) I have maintained a solid 3.9 unweighted GPA. The college I am desperately wanting to go to, half of my family has attended, I have legacy. The total number of APs in which I have gotten a B+ or higher, have been 11 including my senior year. I've been drum major, ASB Vice President and Secretary, Chemistry Club President, Speech and Debate, Chemistry Club President and so forth.
BUT, it has all changed. This year, I have been struggling. My school has an average SAT score of 1780, which is great. It is a highly competitive school with many students going to Harvard (if that sets a standard).
Right now, I will be having straight's A (and over 100 with the honor points) except with AP Physics B, and AP Microeconomics.
My question is: Even if I do get into the college I have been dreaming of, will they deny be for possibly having a C (they will see it as a B with the honor points)?
So basically when I send the college my senior first semester transcript they will see:
Class (without honor points) (with honor points) (but they will only see the side with honor points)
AP Lit (90) (97)
AP Physics B (73) (80)
AP Microeconomics (80) (87)
Social Issues Thru Media (98) (no honor points)
Art (95)
AP Statistics (93) (100)

When you are evaluating my accomplishments from the past three years, to my 73 (80) in physics, will I be denied?
