Trust me this works, I'm the must indecisive person ever, I never get to the bottom of my real feelings.

Put Bernard and Tufts in a hat and draw one. The result doesn't matter at all its the feeling you get when you leave the decision up to fate. I always find myself in some deep inner level rooting for one side and I'm either content of disappointed with the outcome.

Hopefully it'll still work when you know the logic behind it. My brother had a really hard time choicing between UCSD and UCLA, he was so desperate we got it him to do it as a joke, when he picked LA he groined.

He wanted to go to SD the whole time but logically felt like an idiot turning down LA. I said see you really want to go to SD, and within 5 minutes his SIR were sent out after 30 days of debating.

Go with your heart, I'm sure you know all the facts by now so let your feelings guide you.

wow mellowcrazy that's EXACTLY what I did. It totally works. I think inside we all know where we're rooting for. Hope everyone chose right by now!

hypothetically, is it ever possible for someone to send in a reply to one school, deny another, but then change their mind. for example, if the OP send in deposit to Tufts, but two days after denying Barnard decided she made the wrong choice, could she call Barnard, explain, and enroll there (and un-enroll from Tufts)?
