<p>I just finished my first semester freshmen year in college and ended with a 2.4 gpa which was as a software engineer. I didn't really like the programming class i was in and am really thinking about switching to finance because I've always found it interesting and read about it in my free time.</p>
<p>I'm not sure if this is a good idea because of the career outlook for it vs CS or softE so I'm wondering if i should stick it out?</p>
<p>I need to keep a 2.5 GPAfor a scholarship too.</p>
