I don't know what to do as a major when I get to college, I'm only a sophomore so I have time. I love computers and I was thinking of going to N.C. State to get a masters in Computer Science because I already have started programming and web developing but I'm not any good in math. I've heard computer programming/computer science requires math even though I haven't ran into any math yet. Does anyone know if there is complicated math involved? I love history but couldn't consider it as a career and I love music but don't see how it could make good money. Anyone have suggestions?

Computer Science and Math go together. I cant imagine how you like to program without liking math. And if you havent run into any math in programming that because your doing baby stuff.

It will take time, it won't come to you right away. Up until about 2 years I ago, I wanted to be a firefighter, an airline pilot, and a dentist. Don't worry bro, things will come in good time.

Don't tell yourself that you're "not any good at math." Math is a skill that has to be learned. You may not have the makings of a genius, but you can certainly learn it. All I'm saying is don't rule out CS if you think you might like it because you are afraid of the math.

Additionally, search on YouTube for Steve Job's commencement speach at Stanford. He discusses life choices and career choices, and I found it very helpful and inspirational.
