are u instate, cuz if u are ure definitly in, if ure out of state u probably have a great chance of getting in as well

Looks like you have a great shot!! You In state?

thanks guys...no i'm out of state...charlotte,nc.... if either of you are students what is financial aid like....the out of state tuition is quite high and i will need some serious aid (not from umd alone...i know) to be able to afford to go here...once again thanks guys

lol y arent u applying to chapel hill? i heard its easy for instaters to get in... they have some good scholarships, maybe if u can boost ure SAT scores abd GPA a bit

unc chapel hill doesn't have an engineering program but i am applying to state...to be real...i don't want to be in raliegh...i wouldn't need to boost either to get into chapel hill...they don't get really selective until you get into out of state applications...my sister got in with excellent grades and a 1240 sat

i was refering ot MD as for the scholarships

oh cool...lo siento

definitely apply for banneker-key. there's a lot of competition and i can't really say what your chances would be, but if you do make it through, it's full tuition + room and board + a laptop. all you gotta pay is pocket money! =)

wow..that sounds really good..i think i'll look into appolying into that 2!

you can't apply for banneker-key; you apply for admissions, and if they like you, they select you for the scholarship rounds. there's no individual application.
