What if partying is my favorite free time activity?
First of all, I completely understand why this gets a bad rap on this site: with all the drinking and drugs that are involved with partying.
Now, I know that you can do other things on and off campus with your friends, but IMO, it just seems to be where the most fun is at, even without alcohol and drugs. Social interactions, good music, etc. what more can I say? That’s only if you make good decisions when you go out. But, if you make a dumb mistake, then it will obviously affect you in a negative way.
Although, I still had fun when I did other things with my friends. We went to a local state fair and we also went to a corn maze near the same area.
Do you have a question? Feel free to party. Keep yourself & others safe, and do what you want. I think you know better than to list this as an activity on your app if that is what you are asking. Unless, of course, you’d like to rack up some rejections.
Then party, but never lose focus on school.
I’ve had friends with of a schedule of strict classtime, schoolwork, and studying from Monday 10 am to Thursday 10 pm (even eating alone during meals to study while eating) and then straight liver-destroying levels of partying from Thursday 10 pm to Sunday 3 am.
“I don’t mean to post this …” And yet you did post it.
Do you think you would get higher grades with less partying? You said on another post you got a 2.6 for freshman year.
I guess that I just post random stuff on here out of boredom to stay active on this site. I only party on Fridays and Saturdays. Also, how would I get bad grades if I study regularly during the week, which I do? Like I said before, I’m not the type of person to stay in my room during the weekends. Also, my off campus friends only hang out with me whenever something comes up, which only happens about once a month or even less than that. But, I sometimes still meet them for lunch or dinner, so it’s not a total loss for me. So, I’m just stuck here on campus during the weekend. I don’t go home too often either because then I’ll be missing out. When I recently went home for my birthday, I missed out on a good weekend, but there’s always next weekend, right? Even then, it was still nice to go home and visit with my family.
