I don't really get the whole concept of sending SAT scores..

diffy q, so if I’m a junior, and just took my SATIIs, do you recommend I sent out the free ones, so that I save a bit of money should I ultimately decide to apply to the schools I sent them too? In other words…if I sent them to Stanford (as a random example) and then applied later this year, I wouldn’t have to re-send them?

Of course, If I take any further tests in that time I would have to pay to resend them so that they got my full testing record right? (or just send for free again with my next test). Also, if I send SATII scores, they will get my SATI?

Thanks so much!!!

Just needing clarification:
So if I, for example, retook an SATII, colleges will see both the first score and the retake score? Not just the higher one?
And if the first score wasn’t so great, would it have a negative impact?

Lol. The Collegeboard doesn’t mediate. They ARE the SAT. Literally. They are APs. They are everything. This way the scores are sent directly from the source. The university doesn’t need to double-check each applicant, it’s more convenient for them and can also be so for the student if you just add the colleges you want to send the scores to when you take your final SAT.
