I dream of MIT every night! what is my chance?

<p>I am a junior and MIT is my biggest dream. my life is revolved around it!!! could anyone tell me what my chances are?</p>

AP's: last year: AP Calc AB 5, AP Physics B 5. This year: AP Calc BC, AP chem, AP Bio,
AP Econ, AP English
GPA: 4.57/4.0

Academic Award: national commendable scholar? national honors society, Chem Olympiad 3rd State, Scholar Athelet in my high school for 2 years, (will be) AP scholar with distinction
Course load next year: AP USH, AP Pysc, AP English, Multivariable calculus, linear algebra and computer programming at local college, an internship in engineering-related job</p>

FIRST robotics (chair for a subgroup)

Varsity Debate, qualified for state 2008

<p>Do your own research project based around your future field of study.</p>

<p>In all honesty I think if you study for those exams both ACT/SAT to bump up your score, and choose MITEs over SSP if you get accepted, in addition to writing good essays and getting a good recs of course, will pretty much be in good position for admissions.</p>

<p>Plus at least your not class of 2013.</p>

<p>I really want to do some kind of research, but our school does not have any organization that supports research, neither they offer any fund for research. I just can’t find any access to those facilities. </p>

<p>I am very anxious about MITES… They have so many applicants this year!!! as the day goes on I feel like my hope is diminishing…</p>
