I feel bad. I need some advice.

Jamrock411: I am considering a bio major but I am still largely undecided. I very naively thought that since I took Calc AB in high school, I would be able to transition into Calc II. I thought wrong. At least I don’t need to take Calc II for a bio major I just need Calc I and a second semester of math like Stats.

Did anyone by chance take Chem 2070 in past years? I am getting my prelim scores tomorrow for that class and I would like to know what was the class average for the 1st prelim in previous semesters so I have some inkling on how to base the curve.

Well today wasn’t such a bad day. I got some pretty helpful advice from everyone in the post and I got my prelim scores for psychology 1101. I got a 90% on it so it restored a bit of my self esteem and provided some hope that I could lessen the damage from any sort of shortcomings and pitfalls that I may encounter in my first semester.

Congratulations! Just keep at it, use whatever help is available, and it will come together.

Keep up the “A” work and go to the tutors for the other courses! It will slowly build up. Take your time and understand the lessons.
