Hello all,
I am in the middle of applying to my dream university and now that I've started going down the list of things I need to send in I realize I'm in trouble. I've sought the help of my college advisors and counselors but they weren't very helpful. As I am now I don’t think I have a very good chance of getting in. I still have two semester left so I’m running out of time. I need help!
-I am a transfer student and I just moved into the state in January (so that I would be able to afford the tuition)
-I have done some volunteer work but I can't really prove it (church type)
-I was in a few clubs in high school but I was only officially a member of one (I was a phantom member in a few others) but they don't really relate to my major
-The biggest thing is that I had to drop out of high school. I got my GED (don't know how bad that hurts me but I did get a high score...honors I think they called it)

Really I am at a complete loss as to what I can do to improve my chances of getting in. I just finished my first semester of my second year in community college. I have 3.0 gpa but I think I can get it up a little more (I take advantage of the summer semester but I haven't been able to take a lot of classes because I can't afford it)

p.s. I don't know if it matters but I have one withdraw. Thank you all for your help.
