All Egyptian students have their scores delayed for 3 weeks starting from the 16th of February. That means, your scores should come out on the 8th of March tops. If they don’t come out by then, that means your scores are being investigated, in which case College Board will send you an email notifying you of any questions concerning your scores. If you haven’t managed an unrealistic overall point increase (some 500 points or so), then you should be fine. The only problem here is the wait. We have to be extremely patient. I advise you to simply forget about the SAT, and focus on anything else in your life until the results come out.

what’s do you mean by the threshold?

ANY NEWS? ETS Postponed my TOEFL scores 8 weeks… i don’t know why is this happening to me :S

There is precedent for total cancellation: in 2005 January, all Korean scores were cancelled because of cheating at one test center and a few private prep places. Shady people ruining stuff for everyone. Absolutely disgraceful.

I am in the US and my scores were cancelled due to the test center as well! Now I can’t apply to the schools that require SATs and expect the scores to arrive in March!

Taylorgene, that is terrible? Where are you? did they tell you what happened at your test center or offer you a make up test date?

Delayed January SAT scores in Egypt and Saudi Arabia will come out any time today until the 8th of March, and possibly, all scores may be released on the 2nd of March but don’t get your hopes up. However, according to what they say, scores should not come out any later than the 8th of March…but we know how incompetent College Board is, so it’s not such a remote possibility that our scores will be postponed for several weeks to come.

The College Board knows very well since many years that most of the Tests of SAT 2 are stolen in Alexandria and still it repeat them without any restrictions .
I dont know why the college board insists to repeat same exams that are stolen in the past !!!

Marsha - there was not enough test time given and many people reported it I guess. And yes, it is terrible. One of the schools said it was okay… But I am still waiting to hear from the director of admissions from some of the schools.

Will the scores in Egypt be revealed or deleted at 8th of March???

I just heard that they will be delayed 5 more weeks from 8th march, does anyone know anthing about that?? pls reply I’m getting really really worried

Please, enough with the “I heard” stuff. We want fact, nor hearsay; unless you have any link to provide or quotation from an official source, please refrain from propagating rumors.

I called collegeboard yesterday to ask about my daughter’s results (we’re in Egypt as well). I was put on hold for a few moments. The response I finally got was that the results will be out this week. I asked if there would be notification, the answer was no. The person I talked to said to check the website every day or two and that the results should be out Friday the latest. I asked what if they were not out, he said to call back then. I hope this information I got is accurate. The gentleman mentioned nothing about a 5-week delay. He repeated several times that the results would be out this week. Let’s hope this is the case.

I hope so, psunny23. But you know how College Board is, you can’t take their word for sure. I had a friend who had his scores delayed 2 weeks, then he called the CB, and they told him another 2 weeks would be needed. He waited. Again, they told him he’d have to wait another month. In the end, his score was delayed 3 whole months. I do wish that the scores come out this week though.

Moyistbitu…I asked the same question over and over to the point that I was quite repetitive. I even asked what would happen if the scores in a center end up being canceled. The guy said that in the event that happens, there will be a make-up test. He did assure me though that he checked, and the scores are being released “this week.” I hope this is the case. You never know.

Sounds good bro. Anyway, if anyone from Egypt/Saudi Arabia gets his January scores out, please post in this thread so we can know that they’re out. :)

We are all waiting anxiously. If anyone has contacted them then please share with us what they said. I hope they will release the scores this week as it is a very critical time for all of us. I pray that things will go well for everybody.

Hello everyone, now that the scores are likely to come out on the 8th of March, does anyone now what time EST?

I called them today…same answer …3 weeks…very unprofessional

Sofnam
I hope they meant to just confirm the original 3 weeks delay and not another three weeks If they postpone it for another three weeks then that means we will miss the deadline for the Fall so they might as well enjoy the rest of the year to review :(
