I got into UIUC, 1st semester senior year grades were 'okay', chance of acceptance being rescinded?

So, the notification date on whether or not you were accepted was this past Friday. Luckily, I was accepted into General Studies, or undecided. My senior year grades just came in and I received quite a few C’s in my classes, about 3-4 out of 6 or 7 classes. Mind you that I take IB classes, so these C’s are technically A’s in a regulars course.

Do you think that my acceptance will possibly be rescinded because of this? My transcripts have had a few C’s here and there in the past but I have never received more than 2 C’s in one semester. In other words, my grades have not dropped too dramatically.

I plan on getting A’s and B’s only for the last semester of highschool. BTW I hear of people getting D’s in their last year of HS and having their acceptance unchanged. Hm. Whats your advice?

Rescission is quite unlikely.

You can collect the guesses from people here about what UIUC might do. Or, you can talk to UIUC about your situation and get an answer from the one party that actually matters.
