Hi, I got my SAT II scores today, and I got 800 for Math IIC, 800 for Biology E, but 710 for Chemistry.

How much will the chemistry affect my chance of getting accepted?

Before the summer, I took SAT II chemistry and got 680. I don't know... after I finished my Chem in November I felt extremely well about it... but... sigh

nice. what school/s are you applying to?(affects the answer to my question)

Those are better than mine... I got a 790 on Bio E and a 680 on Chem.
And a 640 on Math I because I took it freshman year... and HumEc requires a math. So essentially I'm not getting in.

ah take it easy.
that chem grade shows some level of understanding.
either way you can't do anything about it now, just apply or wait for the results or whatever.

arggh i'm so angry!! i got 740 on my math II sat...i was so sure i could have gotten 800. also, how does bad does it look to have 640 for lit ?

honestly, your SAT IIs arent that detrimental to your decision. stop freaking out. a 710 isnt bad...and neither is a 640! and sometimes getting an 800 on everything is a turn off for schools p.s. there is nothing you can do at this point but wait it out for another 3 weeks.

Agriculture and Life Science (primary) and Arts and Sciences (secondary)

a 710 is not that bad

A 710 is not bad.
You don't need the that

gotta agree with CUambassador here... sat subject tests really don't matter too much. theyre too specialized to paint a much better picture of one's abilities than they already have painted with your core credentials.

that said, you really should have solid scores so as to not hurt your chances in any way. a 640 is on the low side, and though it won't be a breaker to your acceptance, it certainly doesn't help. a 710 is fine. won't sway admissions either way.

Yeah, I know that a 640 is fairly low, but they will see that I scored a 790, 760, and 750 on three others... so hopefully that'll help. Well, I guess we'll see in mid-December. My GC's faxing in 1st quarter grades, so hopefully they'll help with my decision.
