Question About My Subject Test Scores

Heyy okay so as luck would have it my computer froze and CC was on maintenance RIGHT when I posted my thread...so I apologize for the 3 posts with no text :)

Anyways, I posted this thread on the Subject Test Forum and didn't get as much feedback as I had hoped...maybe you guys can help? :D

Math II: 760
Biology: 680

I'm really bummed out about Biology considering I have a solid A in the AP class and am looking at a 5 on the AP (I felt like it was much easier than the Subject Test...). I'm just wondering if I should report my 680 showing that I took the initiative to take the test but counter the "bad" score out with an A and a 5?

Also, I was ecstatic when I found out about Math II, considering how it's not really my strong suit; but after perusing the threads, a lot of you are upset about a 770-790 and I'm starting to get paranoid that a 760 isn't enough...should I stop worrying?

PS I'm applying to mostly top 20 schools with a few top 30s...everything else I have is up to par except standardized tests. Based on this info, can you accurately assess my questions please?

Any help is appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

I heard the Bio SAT II had a tough curve this time. I would report it, but you can always retake it, which I suggest you do. Math II is fine, don’t stress.

Math II is fine. I would hazard a guess that the Bio score is fine as well in light of your grade in the class and how you do on the AP, although if you know for sure you can score higher, by all means retake it. Subject tests aren’t the most important part of your application, and your scores are solid enough.

It all depends upon your college aspirations. Both are excellent for most schools, problematical for some. Where are you interested in going to college?

I’m looking primarily into Duke, John’s Hopkins, Georgia Tech, 1 or 2 UCs OOS, Brown, WUSTL, and a few others (I’m applying to roughly 14 schools lol)

bump please? :)

Yeah, you’re going to need safety schools.

Yeah I definitely have safeties, about 4-5, and the rest are high matches/low reaches

See how well you do on the AP Bio exam. But also know it’s Johns Hopkins, no apostrophe ;)

Haha sorry, I must have typo-ed in my haste.
So are you saying that it’s alright if I get a 5 on the AP?

^ Yes :)
