I got new SAT scores soooo chance me please!

Ok I'm gonna keep this short, my UC gpa is something like 3.92.
My SAT is 2280 (800/730/750).
730 on Literature subject test, 670 on Math II.
National Merit Commended (213 on PSAT)
Will graduate with Distinguished Achievement and Success Scholar (this just has to do with community service (100+ hours) and taking a harder course load and AP tests)
4 on World History AP test
4 on English Language AP test
Not a lot of clubs, National Honor Society, National Junior Classical League, Latin Club, JV II Tennis one year and Invisibile Children one year
I'm a pretty good writer so I'm hoping my personal statements are good enough.

But here's the kicker: I live in Texas. I feel like being out of state just lowers my chances so so much. But will it be different this year with the budget crisis? Anywho, chance me please!

UC GPA is low, but very impressive SATs. Your ECs are sorta weak… I’d say you have a very solid chance though. Good luck!

You are in

you’ll get in easy, I’d also apply to UCLA and Berkley

You are in! Plus…rumor has it that they will be accepting more out-of-state students now because of the budge crisis…

Ya that’s what I heard to, I’m really hoping UCSB is going to do this lol, I hate that I have a lower chance because I don’t live there.

your UC GPA is NOT low…*** said that

dude you are pretty much in. im in-state and got in with much less than that.

Well, the average to the midtier UCs last year was a 4.0 UC GPA. UC Berk/UCLA/ was like 4.2. I’m assuming that while OOS will have an easier time, its still hard to get in OOS. So, it isn’t low, but it isn’t fantastic. UCLA/UCB are very big on GPA.

Well I’m not trying to go to UCLA or Berkeley so yep.

You are in…

Your GPA and SAT probably make you about 75th to 99th percentile here at UCSB

Yayyy! Now I just have to wait 10 months to actually go there…
