I had a dream about HYP

I dont normally have dreams or at least last time I had one of those were when I was little according to my parents, but I had one last night. Decisions came on March 29th Yale- Accepted (very funny), Harvard- Waitlisted (they probably do that to torture me more & I hope not), Princeton- Rejected (Reality). I think I am just so nervous to accept so many rejections on one day and going nuts!! uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

LOL...I had a dream that I went to my mailbox and had huge packets from Syracuse, (which was just like a mid-range school for me), and then yesterday I got a waitlist email! So who knows? I keep having dreams that I attend g*******, which is my top choice, and that my facebook profile says I attend that school. Hahahha.

I had a dream about Wellesley a few weeks ago, which I thought was odd since I'm actually less worried about that application than I am about some others (er, Princeton). Wellesley had decided to transfer my application from the Regular Decision pool to Early Evaluation even though I'm international and wasn't actually allowed to apply EE. They sent me a long letter showing how they'd judged my application in different categories, like Common App essay, "Why Wellesley?" essay, academics, recommendations, and so on, and they'd given each category a grade on the IB scale of 1 to 7. I received a 7 in every category except one: apparently, there had been another short answer question on the application that I hadn't noticed, and since I hadn't answered the question, they had to give me a 1 out of 7 (the lowest possible grade) in that category. They sent a note along saying, basically, "Well, we WOULD admit you, but since you didn't answer our question, we obviously can't." So basically, a stupid mistake (misreading the application and forgetting to answer something) led to being rejected from college.

a lot of times I've had dreams that foretold the future, but my college-related dreams definitely have not fallen into that category. in mid-January (2 weeks before I got my acceptance package for USC) I had a dream that I got a letter saying I did not get into a USC orchestra, and because of it, I thought for some reason that it meant I couldn't go to USC. This made no sense because I'm not a music major, I never auditioned for a USC orchestra, and I haven't even thought about playing in one of the non-major elective orchestras. And then I got in and it was like... huh... ok XD

I had a dream where I was accepted to Duke (which I won't be for sure) and I visited and the tall chapel tower thingy was covered in jewels and very beautiful. :(

I've had a few dreams, nothing major... I've read some brilliant ones on CC though, including one about an admissions envelope metamorphosing into a vampire bat that flew around the room and tried to bite you.. :D

shrivats, that dream is so telling... it's ironic XD

Bahahahaha I had a dream in which I got accepted to Northwestern, but the letter was in a slim envelope so I was freaking out. Then I cried when I saw it was an acceptance.
Funny stuff.

Hah I had a dream that I got into Cornell. I woke up at 930 today, rolled over, and then I had a dream I didn't get into Cornell.

I dreamed I got into Princeton, but in reality, I never even applied. lol

...Look, I blame the stress. :p

Apart from that lovely one -- yeah, I've had college-related dreams. Specifically, 'MIT rejected me' dreams (well, it happened, so I suppose).

So far, mine have been restricted to:

Everybody's accepted me! :):)

Everybody's rejected me! :(:(

Not one for the middle ground am I? ;)

I had a dream that it was March 29, and I checked my Princeton decision first as planned. And then the screen changed into a huge chocolate cake, and I was happy, until I realized that it said REJECTED in huge letters ^_^

Arwen....LOL, that is a nightmare!!

Some people's whole lives are HYP dreams

I had a dream that Stanford decided to accept me.

The funny thing is I'm not even a senior and am not graduating early. ;-)
