I couldn't have said it better poison.ivy. I can't wait 'til college, especially since I had a glimps of it this summer. I just want to get out of this small town that never changes.

im in highschool and doing college classes and for college math I had 10 hours of homework. Still seems like quite a bit of work to me, except not as strenuous.

The high school that I go to is a waste of time and insult to my intelligence. =)

I could go on and on about why I despise it, but I'm sure you guys are in the same position I'm in.

Wheee. I love high school. (whee... death wish...)

High school gives too much unnecessary work :-\
I'm not learning
And I would be doing much better self-studying
but
I love my friends so there's a plus for going

I like school well enough,... I just dont like the people or this town ~ i cant wait to go to college!!

the thought of high school still makes me nauseated, and I graduated in 1969. It's is the most pointless exercise imaginable. Fortunately, both college and "real life" bear no resemblance to high school for most people.

i actually like highschool. it's pretty fun. possibly because i dont have aps or honors or anything too difficult. hm. maybe thats why im DREADING college/my future right now...but highschool seriously isn't all that bad. sure, it gets boring sometimes, but it's exciting when you're involved in school. Being part of student government, everyday is packed with things to do, sure sometimes they suck, but sometimes they're real satisfying too. its nice being a senior and having people look up to you and being responsible for influencing the underclassmen to becoming better people(hopefully). now if i had like..a 4.0 gpa and goin to some awesome college..then..maybe i would be a little more excited about graduation..but i'm not.

I can't wait for college! I would rather study things I love than stupid things I know i'll never use. my school has too many requirements, and it's so darned competetive that if i don't take 6 ap's next year, i'll probably fall from a good standing to out of the top 10%, it's why i like college grades better, there's none of this uw/w gpa business

I HATE high school. It's depressing. Stupid classes and STUPID FRESHMEN. FOR REAL... please, can I graduate now??!?! I'll be a good girl, I PPRRRROOMMMIIISSSEEEEEE!!! ;)

Junior year is one of the few things that has made me SO DEPRESSED...i'm taking 3 ap classes and I feel like an idiot...gpa, class ranking, it's all spinning around my head and making me more and more depressed. i've had four nervous breakdowns in the past 3 weeks....ugh.

it doesnt get much better. Im gettin down in the dumps due to school and im allowing it to influence the way I am treating my boyfriend of 6.5 mths. He seems to be enjoying high school and his classes arent too demandive of him he goes to a private catholic school so u think it would be more difficult. Perhaps im jelous? Oh well, June will eventually come.

high school's really boring this year. besides college stuff i really don't have anything to do.

once i get in to college, high school will have been all worth it and I can finally let loose.

Not to sound like an old hag, but consider the possibility that you may miss your high school when you get to college.

I went to a small high school and now a HUGE university, so I miss being more than just a number. I miss the "being hand fed" by the teachers so that my slacking was kept at a minimum. I miss being in one building for the whole day. Being in an air conditioned building sure beats treking from class to class in the heat. (I live in SUNNY SUNNY Nevada.) I miss the time when I didn't have to wear a watch and bells told me when to leave. I miss the shorter class periods. College lectures last 1 hr 15 min at the very least at my college. Booooring needless to say. I also miss the efficent schedule of high school. (Some of you may like making your own schedules, but I liked the surprise of finding out what teacher I had and when, etc..) As a freshman, it's hard to get all the classes when you want. So you may end up with horrible gaps!

Most of all I miss my friends and even those classmates I hated. I commute so I don't get the chance to know a lot of my classmates now.

Sigh. Try and enjoy high school just a little. Take it from me.

Ok, the old hagging ends now. Sorry.

3 years of high school was just fine and perfectly suitable, it's this unnecessary last year that's a pain

that's why you graduate in 3 years, like me!

well, maybe not, early grad isn't exactly the wisest choice. but i'm happy with it at the moment.

High school sucks.

:-/

I'm involved with a dual-enrollment program and I thoroughly enjoy my CC classes compared to my OTHER classes. Mostly because I like the idea of listening to lectures, doing a lab, and just studying for an exam. (Although, APUSH does seem promising at times... without the load of hw :( )

Burn the busy work!!

i cant wait to drop some of the stresses that high school puts one you

i take back my first half of my first statement. high school sucks. i hate busy work and all that that implies... blah blah blah blah. even the teacher doesnt really care about the busy work....THEN WHY DOES HE ASSIGN IT!!!??? AGggggg.
