I hate high school

I truly hate high school. all these superficial people get on my nerves and Im ready to get far far away.

I don't hate it. Psh. Beats junior high. =P

it's just me but some of the issues I had in high school still haunt me afterwards.
anyways it's worth the wait to be FREE

I hate all the pressure of getting into college

i dont hate it too much.....all i do is smoke pot and skip classes

I wanna be able to wake up at 10 AM.

10 am?!? how bout 12 pm?? haha

ya, i hate it, right now mostly because i have no idea what to write for an emerson lit paper...

i hate it;mostly because of my dance team at the school...they make my life so much harder...also the busy work gets on my nerves

Sometimes I hate it. A lot. Most of the time I just realize that I'm overstressed, which contributes greatly to that hatred. A lot. I want to be able to come home before 10:00 p.m. and get to bed before 1:00 a.m. for the last year that I'll probably be able to do so. Teachers this year are much more unsympathetic and schedule-friendly than the previous three years. Homework is el Diablo. Yeah, and stuff...

I intended on taking an easy year but somehow I am always busy. I only go to school from 7:00 to 10:30am and then M-W I go to college from 12 to 1:30. Then it seems like everyday I am either working, having to do something with an extracurricular, or having a project. I don't mind high school as I've always enjoyed the classes I've taken, but I'm not super excited about college like many of you.

like it's not school I hate, I just hate staying up late everyday. I hate homework. if it wasnt for homework id'e be cool.

What a bunch of cry babies!!

Well guess what? i LIKE high school. I have no issues with it whatsoever. Its completely necessary to go to hs before college (obviously). i cant stand people who go throughout the day sayung how much they hate the place, they seem ignorant to me. I know most of you are smart and have good grades and what not so you guys are obvioulsy respectable. But the othres taht see highschool as pointless makes me mad.

blah.. i have a lot of fun and have the hardest schedule avaliable for my year (sophomore) yea sure i do screw myself over about every weekend.. with not gettin **** done. But at the end of the day everything was worth it..

therefore.. highschool can be fun at times, but a pain in the ass

but one day your going to look back to those four years.. how about we make them happy ones! :-)!

Yeah, during your sophomore year you'll love it... think, just last year you were a freshman and everything was new and exciting. In two more years, you'll be a senior and ready to be done. I like my school, don't get me wrong, but the rules, the underclassmen, the stink bombs, the fire drills, the parking, the 5am alarm clock, the complaining teachers, the busy work.... it all adds up to what? a diploma? a better future? I never understood why it was necessary.

I only went to an actual school for two years of high school, and I did not particularly like it...all people would talk about was 'who's dating who,' 'who cheated on who,' movies, Friends & Real World...I mean, it's okay on occasion, but 24/7? I don't think I had one political discussion in high school. If I ever brought up anything remotely interesting I got a bunch of weird looks.
Cannot wait for college...not that everything will be different (I won't delude myself), but I'll definitely meet more people with similar interests. That's been my main gripe with high school. Anyone feel the same way?

I agree high school wasn't completely pointless, but it could be MUCH improved. I would love to have junior and senior seminar/discussion classes...how awesome would that be....esp in the spring of senior year, when apps are in and course loads aren't such a priority (hear the senioritis leaking through? ;) )

I like parts of it. I like when I have a class that assigns us to groups and gives us a lot of freedom (like film classes). That is a LOT of fun. It's fun to make people laugh as well.

And I hate everything else. I hate how when you have fun, it means you are not doing something right and you get a bad grade for it. But I'll definitely miss some of the good times when I go to college.

my teachers are nice, except for my Spanish teacher, but they just aren't as nice/smart as last year. I miss my old teachers

wow, i first visited this thread when it was one guy saying 'man i hate high school'
at that time, i thought, what a stupid thread, this will never go anywhere
little did i know that there were many who wanted to bitc* about high school and those who wanted to defend it
wow 3 pgs for 'i hate high school'
thas craza

i cant wait till college, i can take the classes i want to, i can have more freetime. sleep in the dorms, party all night long. go out with a pretty, intelligent girl. I could study mathematics, hard calculus and doing puzzles alot of the time. In the city, by the beach. that would be the life. doing well in highschool will get me there, just that i must focus one more year, just this year! Do i wish colleges didnt care about senior grades, oh would that be great.
I have a question is it possible, somehow, to get a C up to an A by semester?, its like quarter right now.

c to an a is almost impossible
i have a b- (80%) in ap chem and i'm worried
mayb if u have like a 79 or so u can do it
i no my chem teacher curves the tests 10 pts (sometimes 20) so i could theoretically get like a 107 or so if i dont loose a point all semester
it all depends on your teacher and course
o- and also if your teach averages the 2 quarters or keeps on on-going total - thats huge

I don't hate it this year. Senior year has been pretty fun. Nonetheless, I can't wait for college.
