hello. i want to know if my chances of getting into law school will be hurt by bad community college grades. i will graduate from my current 4 year university with a 3.7 but i had a 2.9 at my community college. my LSAT is 170

I would read up on how the Law School Advisory Council (LSAC) calculates GPAs. 170 is an excellent score and it can help you overcome a poor GPA at many schools up to a certain point. You are what is known as a “splitter” with much stronger LSAT than GPA at many schools. In your case your LSAC GPA would probably be much lower than your college transcript would show
