So I got accepted to the college and I received a certain amount of scholarships for 2016-2017. (I didn’t get the actual mail yet; I just checked my status in online)
So if I get certain amount of scholarship for year 2016-2017, does that mean I will get same amount of scholarships every year???
(I am confused because other schools that I get accepted, they calculated my scholarships in terms of 4 years- not only 2016-2017)
I am not familiar with scholarship things so… help me please
you have to ask the college.
Why you do want to guess about this? If it is not clear when you get the letter, then contact the school. Scholarships are typically for all four years but it usually spelled out in the letter. A number of colleges require that a student maintain a certain GPA to keep the scholarship, but again it should be in the letter – if it isn’t contact the college to clarify.
For merit aid you would need to keep some minimum GPA. For need based aid it depends on your income (if it changes so does your grant). As @menloparkmom states, check with the college
