I Have a Serious Question

Hey everyone. My name is Brian, I'm 26 years old and I've been in and out of college since I graduated high school. I've never really had the motivation to take it seriously and because of this I have a poor academic track record.

I've done well for myself though without a degree. I'm a financial advisor who handles retirement accounts and annuities for my clients. I make close to 100k per year without a degree. I'm not bragging, just being matter of fact.

However, lately I've wanted to go back to college and get my degree. The sales game takes its toll on you and I feel like I need a degree to satisfy my own personal needs in life. My transcripts look like absolute crap though from the 3 colleges that I've "attended".

Now my question is...

Would it be possible to attend a new college, in a new district and just forget about the past academic perfomance of my previous college attempts? When I apply to a University will they even check other colleges or just look at the transcripts that I provide them.

Aside from my GPA, I have what a lot of colleges are looking for (at least in my mind). I'm a hard worker, have a CFII (Flight Instructor), Divemaster (SCUBA Instructor), leadership experience (VP of Sales for my company), proven track record of business accomplishment, I volunteer at a hospital, I'm well traveled (6 continents), fluent in 2 languages, conversational in 1 more, etc.

I understand that this might not be the most honest thing in the world, but I'm just curious if it could be done. My GPA really is the only thing that would hold me back from a top 10 school

Thanks.
