I have no credit, only W's. Will W's stay on my transcript once I start attending community college?

I’ve tried to attend university twice now. They were two different universities. Both times I withdrew from all of my classes within the first month of attending because I was having health problems (I did not provide health problems as a reason when I dropped out). I now plan to apply to community college in the fall.

It is my understanding that I have to submit a transcript from both of the previous schools even though I do not have any credit to transfer. Is this correct? Or can I apply as a freshman?

Will they technically consider me a freshman and start over with a new transcript or will the W’s always be on my transcript?

I am worried about how these will affect my scholarship application when I finally transfer to university again after two years. Also, I plan to go to graduate school so I am worried about that too.

Thanks for any help.

Ask the schools involved about transcripts with withdrawals only. It is important to know what the college’s to which you are applying thinks about transcripts with only Ws.

Yes, you need to provide the transcripts, even if they are just W’s, but as long as you stay healthy it shouldn’t make a huge difference in admissions. The most recent transcript will be the most important by far.
