I have the most unique hook. Will this give me the edge for Stanford admission?

know middle eastern is white, but I feel like my life story would compensate for not having a perfect rank etc.Not every applicant has been through a revolution or evacuated on an aircraft carrier (I'm putting this in my essay). Hopefully this makes me stand out.I also plan on applying through Questbridge. Will this make a significant difference with my admissions Stanford.

Ps - you ARE Asian… :p

Asian= Oriental hahah actually technically middle eastern is white. Well in 2005 our prime minister was assassinated covertly. Fingers were being pointed everywhere but mainly focused on Syria ( they recently found out it was Hezbollah). Seminars and strikes were held at Beirut where many lebanese gathered to force syrian troops out of lebanon. This was know as the cedar revolution. for more details: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cedar_Revolution</a>). I attended these gatherings as a child I really developed a sense of patriotism and independence at a young age. It was a unique experience. It was a peaceful non-violent revolution. I contributed to the revolution by simply being at these strikes and uniting against an opposing force. Here’s an image of one of the ceremonies held in beirut ([Alloush: Cedar Revolution set an example for others to follow | Ya Libnan | World News Live from Lebanon](Alloush: Cedar Revolution set an example for others to follow – Ya Libnan)) pretty cool lol
