My first semester grades just came out and I went to deliver my mid-year reports to my counselor today and he refused to see them. He said the counseling office doesn't do mid-year reports anymore and that I should just send my newest transcript to my colleges?I don't have any mid-year reports attached to my transcripts and no counselor verification or signatures!!!!!!!!! Is this bad? How will the admissions officers know its a mid-year when there is no indication of it on my transcript?

talk to your principal; your guidance office is about the most pathetic disservice to education that could exist.

I'd complain to district officials too.
I know your grown up, but if you don't have the "stroke" to get what you want, then drag your parents into this. Most of the time, parents scare the hell out of them.

the last thing you want is someone with a grudge doing your report. so, try to be nice about it?

i think you can ask the principal to do the report for you instead of your counselor. I remmeber reading somewhere that it does not have to be a guidance counselor, but then I don't live in America, so...
