I have two very different essays... Anyone willing to read both and suggest which is better?

I would be eternally grateful!!

I’ll take it look. If anyone else posts on this thread, check their posting history first to make sure thy’re not a rising senior applying to colleges. As you can see from my posts, I am a graduated HS senior!

I’ll be happy to take a look. But the school year is ending… give me a day or two.

And I’ll second the advice of @MrElonMusk . Before you send me anything, click on my name and “threads.” Satisfy yourself that I am what I say I am: a math teacher and the mom of 2 teens (my son turned 20 yesterday, I still can’t get over that!!) Don’t ever post an essay, or send it to anyone who might possibly want to plagiarize it.

i could also read if for you if you would like!

i’m a rising junior idk if you still want me to read it but I will if you want to

I’ll be happy to offer a brief critique if you PM them to me.

Don’t send it to any kids yet to even submit their own apps, how would they know what works? This is very differen than a usual hs writing assignment. Ideally, you want someone who knows what works, more or less.

Also, June before senior year is too soon to be finalizing an essay. Setting a direction is ok, but don’t be too fixed on a final product before the next 4 months.

I would love to take a look, can you send them to me. thanks.

@Hurricaneadmit Echoing the advice of the above posters only send essays (especially college ones to senior members who have posting histories verifying they are not high school students) essay plagirism and idea stealing is very real on this site for those that post essays.

I’d be happy to overlook your essay and provide feedback. I run the College Confidential UCLA Forums and I’m a rising third year at Ucla.

I would be happy to take a look. I’m a parent with one already in college. I do have a rising senior who will be applying to college.

Has anyone received these essays ?

OP: You may need to get a post count of at least 15 before being able to initiate & send a private message. You can, however, respond to a PM sent to you.

I’ve been reading essays on here for years. But you don’t have enough posts so I will PM you, and then you can reply.
