I just called UCLA to clarify some things!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/700517-ucla-admission-decisions-friday.html

I guess that confirms everything then…:)

okkkkkk that’s cool it’s this friday

so will we be able to access myucla tomorrow thursday?

hopefully.

here is another clarafication on Financial Aid. Please correct me if you think im wrong.

there are 3 parts to financial aid:

View eFAN and Financial Aid Awards on MyFAO
-this is eFAN which is equivilant to ePAL only that
-you can only see it if you have SIR done

View Financial Aid Awards and Summary on URSA
-everyone can see this even if fafsa not processed.
-this just tells you how much you need, etc. based on FAFSA
-but if you dont have FAFSA done, it still shows up and says Incomplete
-for the status

View Financial View Financial Aid Document Tracking
-this is the main part, it shows that your FA is downloaded which means you
-are in!!

you cant see financial aid awards and summary on ursa if you didn’t submit fasfa because they wouldn’t be able to determine your efc.

not quite, farbod…

the theory is all about the financial aid summary, ie —> the ish that says the cost of attendance.

What exactly would this mean?

ESTIMATED TAX STATUS ON FAFSA Waived 4-22-2009

This is what appears in my Ursa > Financial Aid Document Tracking.

Not quite sure why an estimated tax status would be waived. Can anyone clarify?

that they recieved your updated information

farbod, not everyone can see “View Financial Aid Awards and Summary on URSA.” even with a INCOMPLETE you’re still “seeing” your FA summary. some people dont even see jack

Exactly, it is all about the 2nd one. If you have a summary, then you are good. If it says You do not have a Financial Aid Summary for this Award Period, things aren’t looking good yet.

kunnoodles: i think thats because they are totally outright REJECTED!

those who CAN see your FA, can you view your financial aid tracking as well?

can you see it cinamint? I can!

farbod is off

yea…wasn’t able too the last time I checked (but that was probably a week ago) =D

maybe a bit off…but I think that the tracking thing is relevant somehow.

stupid 1 minute rule!

still nothing on mine. I am hoping for the best here. they site will be shutting down in 25 mins. :/

Cool I saw a summary back on the 17th and I’ve been able to see "View Financial View Financial Aid Document Tracking " with a status of Complete and a date of receipt of 4-17-2009.

So does this mean I’m in for sure?
