Hi all! I'm going into Junior year (high school) and I'm feeling lots of pressure. I want to go to college, I know that, but I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what I'd like to major in. Next year is when I'd take SATs and ACTs and it seems everyone has it figured out and the stress is killing me (I'm a worrier...). I'm afraid I'm going to pick something and deeply regret it. Some days I really see myself doing something and then others I think I'm crazy for even considering that career. I have the potential to go to a great school, Brown is even interested in me because of my sport! So I have a world of opportunities and I don't want to mess it up and I'm sort of freaking out... HELPPP? Can anyone offer me some advice or something?

I also didn’t know where to post this…

Are you interested in pre-med? Then this is not the right place. <a href=“High School Life - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/high-school-life/

What classes are you taking junior year?
What types of classes do you like better (Math/Science, English/History,?)

How did you do on the PSAT sophmore year?
You will take it again Junior year. It is very important because it will perhaps make you eligible for National Merit Scholarships if you do well. Also it will indicate what you will get on the SAT (multiply by 10)

Also many many people your age don’t know what they want to do. They go to a college with many possibilities and take courses and discover what is interesting to them.

What are you thinking about as a career?
