I just got a part time job, working ~13 hours on weekends. Holding down a job usually looks good on apps...Should I notify my colleges with a change in my app? Or is it really too late to bother?

Also, I plan on opening an online store soon. assuming that it's very successful, should I notify my colleges about that as well?

Depends on your college.

Notify if you have time, but it’s strongly recommended you <show> them how that job is helping you grow as person.</show>

As commendable as is your having gotten a job, especially in this poor economy, I think it does not rise to the level of an award or honor of which you should apprise the admissions committees.

I think the same of opening an online store in the near future. Besides, how is there enough time between now and April 1 for a new online store to have been operating long enough to be judged successful and therefore worthy of reporting to the admissions committees?
