<p>I've started two new jobs; one of them is a weekend-only job, and the other is a night-time job, specifically working for Jackson Hewitt and as a data-entry typist. Would it be a good idea to let RD schools know about this? I know it isn't too late because they finish filing in February. Also, I've done more stuff with some of my hobbies and activities that I would like to tell them about. Would this be a good idea? Would it show interest? How would I go about doing this? Would it need to be formal?</p>

<p>Sure, you can tell them. Do it via a snail mail letter or fax, not by e-mail; the hard copy has a better chance of making into your file.</p>
<p>What's the point of telling the college that you just STARTED two jobs. It is not an achievement so far, it cannot explain your previous history. I see it: OK, you are done with your applications, some of your ECs slowed down (seniors tend to step down in spring), you can let your grades drop by half-point. Why not to start a job?</p>
