I just got in...and I am lost...

Thank you gladmom. I actually have my finaid package available now online, and it is certainly enough for my parents to let me go. It is, however, slightly less than what Vanderbilt has offered me so we will still call and see if they can help us out a bit more. Though I can surely say I will accepting this spot! =]

kasiiaaa, yaaayy, hope to see you there!

Definitely!!!

kasiiaaa, that is great news! I’m sure you’ll love it at Stanford.

^skyraptor, all of the $4500 student contribution can be paid through scholarships. I, for example, received about $6000 in scholarship money and because of that Stanford put my student contribution as $0 on my financial aid offer.

I’m so jealous of everyone with these sweet scholarships. I’m from Germany where college is about $2000 a year, which means there are absolutely no scholarships that would sustain someone going to the US.

Congrats to everyone!

^Hippo724, thanx for letting me know! I’m hoping my school scholarship and my APIASF scholarship can cover the $4500 cost…

Does anyone know about health insurance at Stanford? b/c I’m on MediCal only and the Cardinal Care program seems very costly ~$750 a quarter

hey hippo, how did you report your scholarship money?
congrats to kasiaaa btw!! you won’t regret your choice :)

Thanks! I hardly doubt I will. For once I have no doubts or regrets about my college choice.
