<p>If you go, you’re there for at least a year. You can’t really transfer after first semester. And- your grades better be good that first year if you really want to transfer to a top 20 school. And- you don’t have a great chance of much financial aid from any of those top 20 schools as a transfer student.</p>
<p>I would either go with an open mind and give Chicago a chance (I think very highly of the place) or go to a CUNY and start working on your transfer applications to somewhere you would feel more comfortable.</p>
