Well to clarify, it’s not an award per se. Basically, a heavy focus of my common app activities section is on journalism, and I was just invited to cover a prestigious event for a magazine that I write for. So should I update Princeton on this? If so, how do I go about doing it? Thanks guys, I welcome any input 
Yes, you should send the update to uaoffice @ princeton . edu (remove spaces)
I found out yesterday that I received an invitation to a prestigious choral conference, and my GC (who used to work at Princeton) said that it was definitely still worth sending. Best of luck!

@gmanhax hahaha I created this account back when I was still set on Harvard, but I have since defected over to the orange and black faction Mmhm thanks for your advice. Do you mind telling me what your email was like? Did you attach a link to the event’s website or a copy of your invitation or…?
I sent them an email that indicated what my addition was, then I explained what the invitation really meant and how invitees were selected, and lastly I provided my information (name, high school, common app ID). I did attach the invitation letter as well.
