<p>Keep in mind though that engineers usually experience grade deflation... and that GPA is very important when applying to professional school.</p>
<p>Also know that chemical engineering is a time consuming and relatively difficult major. Could be different at other schools, but the average chem eng graduates in 4.5-5 years because they have the highest credit requirements of all majors here.</p>
