i know it sounds stupid

i know it sounds stupid...but just to make my career secure, can i do egineering say chem engineering and then apply to med skool?

Yes. (10 char)

Keep in mind though that engineers usually experience grade deflation... and that GPA is very important when applying to professional school.

Also know that chemical engineering is a time consuming and relatively difficult major. Could be different at other schools, but the average chem eng graduates in 4.5-5 years because they have the highest credit requirements of all majors here.

so basically i should stick to a major that allows me to score high gpa's..ok thanks guys
