1-Talk to you high school guidance counselor
2-Take the SAT or ACT.
3-Go to each school’s website under Admissions and review the requirements.
4-Talk to you parents to see if they can afford $30,000-$60,000/year tuition room and board.

Thanks. After I take my SAT test in November, I can apply to as many Universities as I want for a fee?

Also, do the Universities just look at SAT scores? How about my high school average and extra curricular activities?

You can apply to most schools now actually, you do not need to wait until after you take the tests. There is no real limit to the number of schools you can apply to. But don’t forget item 4 above. Except for some elite universities (Harvard, Stanford, Williams etc.), financial aid for international students is very limited or non-existant.

I see, I see. So American Universities just look at SAT scores?

Thanks for your help tomofboston!

They look at SAT/ACT scores, your high school grades since 9th grade and extracurricular actinities. Recommendations from teachers/guidance counselors are usually required too.

While you can apply now, decisions are not released until late Fall at the earliest.
