haha - i'm hoping for sd at the very least ^_^

haha true but UCIrvine already said we're in. ya SD would be better tho :p

Wait, you guys got your UC decions already?

I am confused...............

Elc...........

yeah, that's the only way I knew i was top 5% at my school. I would never have guessed, so I was super duper surprised when I got the ELC envelope. I was like this:
o_O!?!?!?! whwaaaa???!??!

Grr...CA residents

I hate it how you guys have an advantage, but then you do pay taxes to support these places.

Just out of curioisty, I applied to UCSD with a 3.85 gpa 2160 SAT (770 V 720 M 670W)
and 780 Math II 680 Physics 670 US

Do I have a chance at all? I applied for the electrical engineering major.

(I am SO sorry for turning a Stanford thread into a UC chances thread, I know I will burn in CC hell for it...lol)

those are above average stats for ucsd, if you were living in CA, you'd be a shoe-in, but being out-of-state, i wont make any guarantees... even though those stats are nicely above the average at UCSD

however, i dont know what your competition is like for an electical engineering major

ohhhh but ucsd as a safety.... such a nice safety to fall back on, no doubt.

I know....My father has a close friend who lives in La Jolla, he says its beautiful. I might turn into a beach bum if I go there....lol

But do they really hate out-of-staters? So only super stellar out-of-staters would be able to get in? Grrr...

I am so jealous of CA ppl, you have such nice safeties......why oh why did my parents not move to CA..

haha I don't think they hate out of state people that much...:)
