<p>You look like a strong candidate, but it would be wise to consider the fact that admissions are just chancy, and it's really tough to predict what way they'll go. On the bright side, though, I've heard that Middlebury is easier to get into for men because a significantly higher number of women apply each year, and they want to preserve the 50-50 balance. Good for you, sucks for me :-) </p>
<p>First of all don't worry about the SAT scores as one poster said, just send the ACT to Middlebury. Secondly, I agree with the first poster in that you are certainly qualified..... That being said, it becomes somewhat of a lottery of the qualifieds because there are sooooo many qualifieds that they can just pick and choose the exact demographic that they need.</p>
<p>But, to leave you with a positive, demographically a male from Minnesota is not a bad one as compared to a white female from New York or New Jersey. Give it a shot, but make sure you apply to several other schools that fit the Middlebury profile because you will get into one of them.</p>
